Ovvos

Zoho alternative

Ovvos or Zoho One? An honest comparison.

Zoho One bundles more than 50 apps and prices them per employee or per user. Ovvos is fourteen tools on one login, priced per organisation. That is a difference in size as well as in price, so this page starts with where Zoho is the better choice.

Breadth and connections. If your plan depends on either, Ovvos will not close that gap — and we would rather you knew before the demo.

The honest list

  • You need accounting today.

Zoho Books is part of Zoho One. Ledger, the Ovvos accounting tool, is still in testing and not yet available to customers.

  • You need integrations or an API.

Zoho has an API and a marketplace of connectors. Ovvos has neither, on purpose: its tools connect only to each other, inside the platform.

  • You want more than 50 apps under one subscription.

Zoho One reaches into areas Ovvos does not try to cover, from analytics to website building. Ovvos has fourteen tools.

  • You want to sign up and start today.

Zoho One offers a self-serve trial. Ovvos is available by application, starting with a demo.

  • Your team works from phones.

Zoho ships mobile apps. Ovvos tools are desktop-first.

Where Ovvos fits better

A company that wants one system everyone learns once, and a price that is not counted per seat.

What you get

  • Priced per organisation, not per employee.

Zoho One's All-Employee plan licenses everyone on your payroll, and its Flexible User plan licenses each user. Ovvos charges one price per organisation, with no per-user fees.

  • One design, one login, one inbox.

Every Ovvos tool shares the same interface, light and dark mode, two densities and a platform-wide inbox. A person learns one system, not a set of apps.

  • A separate copy for each department.

A tool is generated per department: two departments can each run their own CRM and never see each other's data.

  • Your data stays your company's.

Every screen, report and export is limited to your own company, enforced on every request.

  • Built inside a working company — and honest about gaps.

Each tool replaced something a real business had stopped paying for, and each one says plainly what it leaves out. See every gap on the comparison page.

Questions

What buyers ask about Zoho One and Ovvos

Short answers. Anything else, ask in the demo — including whether Ovvos is the wrong fit.

Answers

  • Is Ovvos cheaper than Zoho One?

It depends on headcount. Zoho One costs more as your company grows, because it is priced per employee or per user. Ovvos is one price per organisation, so the comparison favours Ovvos most when many people need access. Pricing is given in the demo.

  • Can Ovvos connect to Zoho?

No. Ovvos has no public API and no third-party integrations, so there is no Zoho connector. Its tools connect to each other inside the platform.

  • Does Ovvos replace all of Zoho One?

No. Ovvos covers CRM, live chat, email marketing, shipping, tasks, HR, stock, assets, knowledge base, glossary, partner deal registration, passwords, spec sheets and notifications. It does not offer accounting yet, and it does not try to cover the rest of Zoho's catalogue.
