Odoo is a modular ERP: an open-source Community edition, and an Enterprise edition priced per user. Ovvos is fourteen tools for the back office on one login, priced per organisation. They overlap in CRM, stock and HR, and differ a great deal everywhere else.

Where Odoo is the better choice
Odoo is an ERP and Ovvos is not. If you need manufacturing, accounting or the freedom to change the code, Odoo is the better fit.
The honest list
You need a full ERP.
Odoo covers accounting, manufacturing, point of sale and much more. Ovvos has no manufacturing tool, and its accounting tool, Ledger, is still in testing.
You want open source or to host it yourself.
Odoo Community is open source. Ovvos is not, and it runs as a hosted platform.
You want to customise or build modules.
Odoo can be extended by developers and partners. Ovvos tools are generated as they are, with no custom modules.
You need an API or integrations.
Odoo offers external API access on its higher plan. Ovvos has no public API and no third-party integrations, by design.
You want to start free.
Odoo's One App Free plan gives one app at no cost. Ovvos has no free plan or self-serve signup; access is by application.
Choose Ovvos if
Where Ovvos fits better
A company that wants one system everyone learns once, and a price that is not counted per seat.
Odoo Enterprise charges per user per month once you use more than one app. Ovvos charges one price per organisation, with no per-user fees, whichever tools and departments you use.
One design, one login, one inbox.
Every Ovvos tool shares the same interface, light and dark mode, two densities and a platform-wide inbox. A person learns one system, not a set of apps.
A separate copy for each department.
A tool is generated per department: two departments can each run their own CRM and never see each other's data.
Your data stays your company's.
Every screen, report and export is limited to your own company, enforced on every request.
Built inside a working company — and honest about gaps.
Each tool replaced something a real business had stopped paying for, and each one says plainly what it leaves out. See every gap on the comparison page.

Questions
What buyers ask about Odoo and Ovvos
Short answers. Anything else, ask in the demo — including whether Ovvos is the wrong fit.
Answers
Is Ovvos an ERP?
No. Ovvos is a set of back-office tools — CRM, live chat, email marketing, shipping, tasks, HR, stock, assets, knowledge base and more — on one login. It has no manufacturing, and accounting is not yet available.
Is Ovvos cheaper than Odoo?
It depends on how many people need access. Odoo Enterprise is priced per user; Ovvos is one price per organisation. The more people who use it, the more the comparison favours Ovvos. Pricing is given in the demo.
Can I self-host Ovvos like Odoo Community?
No. Ovvos is not open source and is not offered for self-hosting.
